THE TESTAMENT OF SOLOMON — INTRODUCTION

Beyond The 66 Restored Scripture
We The Assembly

Shalum Mysphaka. Welcome to the restored reading of the ancient writing known as The Testament of Solomon — a powerful record preserved across generations, revealing wisdom, authority, and the unseen realm of rebellious spirits.

Before we begin Chapter One, let us take a moment to understand the weight of this scroll and why it matters for our time.

Solomon, son of David, king of Yahshar’al, was baruk with wisdom from YAHUAH — wisdom unlike any given to another man. He built the first Temple. He judged the people with truth. And in his days, YAHUAH gave him authority to see the unseen realm — the realm where rebellious spirits move.

In this writing, Solomon describes how YAHUAH sent an angel to deliver a special ring — a sign of divine authority. With it, Solomon was able to bind, question, and command the spirits that troubled mankind. Each spirit revealed its name, its assignment, its weaknesses, and what breaks its power. This scroll preserves those interviews and the truths they reveal.

The Testament of Solomon is not a tale—it is a record of spiritual order.
It shows that YAHUAH rules over all realms.
It shows that no spirit acts outside His command.
It shows that truth exposes darkness — and darkness flees.

As you study this restored text, you will hear Solomon speak with clarity, courage, and spiritual understanding — asking each spirit who they are, what they do, and what weakens their schemes. For those who desire discernment, spiritual awareness, and a clear understanding of warfare, this writing is a gift.

Throughout this restored version, you will see the original meanings of the sacred names:

YAHUAH — the Name of the Most High
YAHUSHA Ha-Mashiach — the Anointed One
ALUAH — Mighty One
Yahshar’al — the people of the covenant
Yahudah — the tribe of kings
Ruach — Spirit

These names carry identity, culture, and purpose. They reconnect the text to its original voice.

CHAPTER 1

THE AUTHORITY GIVEN TO SOLOMON

1. These are the words of Solomon, son of Dawid, king of Yahshar’al, concerning the authority he received from YAHUAH to master and subdue the rebellious spirits of the air, the earth, and beneath the earth.
([Note: This opening line appears in several Greek manuscripts as the formal introduction.])

2. By the wisdom that YAHUAH gave him, Solomon accomplished the great works of the Temple and learned the schemes of the spirits who oppose mankind — and by what power they may be brought to nothing.

3. Baruk are You, YAHUAH ALUAH, who gave Your servant Solomon such authority.
Baruk be Your Name forever.

THE TORMENT OF THE YOUNG BOY

4. In the days when the Temple of Yerushalayim was being built, the craftsmen labored each day, and a young boy, beloved by Solomon, worked among them.

5. But at evening a demon named Ornias came upon him, stealing half his wages and half his food, and the boy grew thin and weak.

6. Solomon called the boy and asked:
“My son, why do you grow weaker each day? Do I not provide for you? Do I not give you food and wages in full?”

7. And the boy answered:
“O king, I beg you, listen.
Each night, after we finish the work of the House of YAHUAH, a wicked spirit comes.
He steals half my food and my pay.
He seizes my right hand and sucks my thumb.
My body wastes away, though you care for me.”

THE PRAYER OF SOLOMON

8. When Solomon heard this, he entered the Temple and prayed day and night that YAHUAH would deliver the demon into his hand.

9. And YAHUAH heard him and sent Mika’el, the great archangel, who came to Solomon with a ring engraved with the Seal of YAHUAH.

THE RING OF AUTHORITY

10. And Mika’el said to him:
“Take this ring, O Solomon, son of Dawid.
With it you shall bind all spirits — male and female — and you shall command them for the labor of the Temple.
Wear it with purity, for it bears the Seal of YAHUAH Tz’vaoth.”

([Note: Tz’vaoth = “Hosts / Armies,” the same title appearing throughout Hebrew Scripture.])

11. Solomon rejoiced and praised YAHUAH.
On the next day he called the boy and gave him the ring.

12. And he said to him:
“When the demon appears, cast this ring upon his chest and say:
‘By the Name of YAHUAH Tz’vaoth, King Solomon summons you!’
Then run to me quickly, and fear no evil.”

THE CAPTURE OF ORNIAS

13. That evening, Ornias came like a burning flame to seize the boy’s wages, but the child threw the ring upon his chest and shouted the command.

14. And at once the demon cried out and fled, saying:
“Why have you done this to me?
Take the ring off me, and I will give you all the gold of the earth — only do not bring me before Solomon!”

15. But the boy said:
“As YAHUAH, ALUAH of Yahshar’al lives, I will not release you. Come with me.”

ORNIAS BEFORE SOLOMON

16. And the boy brought Ornias before Solomon, and the demon trembled before him.

17. And Solomon said:
“Tell me your name.”

18. And the demon answered:
“I am called Ornias.”

([Note: Many Greek manuscripts add that Ornias was associated with “Aquarius / Water-Pourer.”])

CHAPTER 2

ORNIAS REVEALS HIS NATURE

19. And Solomon said to Ornias:
“Tell me what you do among men.”

20. And the demon answered:
“I strangle those who burn with desire for the noble virgins of men.
I wander at night.
I take many forms.
At times I appear as a beautiful woman.
At times a lion.
At times I fly up into the heavenly regions.”

21. And Solomon said to him:
“Tell me, under whose authority do you operate?”

22. And Ornias said:
“All demons are subject to me in certain hours,
but above us stands Beelzeboul, the ruler of those who dwell in the air,
and those under the earth.”

([Commentary: Several ancient manuscripts describe Ornias as a “decoy” spirit whose purpose was to weaken Solomon’s workers.])

THE ANGEL WHO RESTRAINS ORNIAS

23. Solomon said:
“By what angel are you restrained?”

24. And Ornias answered:
“By Mika’el, the mighty one of YAHUAH.
At the sound of his Name I am undone.”

SOLOMON SENDS ORNIAS TO FETCH BEELZEBOUL

25. Solomon sealed Ornias with the ring of YAHUAH and said:
“Go now.
Bring me Beelzeboul, the prince of demons.”

26. And the demon cried out and resisted greatly,
but he obeyed the seal, for the authority of YAHUAH bound him.

27. And Ornias departed and brought Beelzeboul before Solomon,
dragging him by force.

THE APPEARANCE OF BEELZEBOUL

28. And when the king saw him,
there stood before him a spirit in a great flame of fire,
whose countenance was fierce and proud.

29. And Solomon said:
“Who are you?”

30. And the spirit answered:
“I am Beelzeboul,
the exarch of demons.
I sit upon a throne in the air.
I cause kings to stumble.
I send forth wars.
I stir anger and jealousy.
I control those who dwell in the Red Sea
and in the abyss beneath the earth.”

([Commentary: “Exarch” = ruler or chief over a region. Ancient texts indicate Beelzeboul oversaw the spirits of the air and the underworld.])

BEELZEBOUL CONFESSES HIS FALL

31. And Solomon said:
“How did you fall?”

32. And he said:
“I was once a chief among the angels of the first heaven.
But I rebelled.
I was cast down from my station.
Now I rule over the darkness beneath the earth.”

33. Then Solomon praised YAHUAH,
who made even the highest rebels subject to His Name.

SOLOMON COMMANDS BEELZEBOUL TO LABOR

34. And Solomon sealed Beelzeboul with the ring of YAHUAH and said:
“You shall saw stones for the Temple
and prepare wood for the sacred work.”

35. And the demon groaned and cried out,
but he obeyed because he was bound by the authority of YAHUAH Tz’vaoth.

BEELZEBOUL’S PROPHECY OF THE MESSIAH

36. Then Solomon said:
“Tell me of the coming age and the fate of your kingdom.”

37. And the demon answered:
“There will come a Man from a virgin,
whose Name is known among the Greeks as 644.
He will be called ʻImmanu’el
meaning ‘ALUAH with us.’
He will frustrate us all.
He will bruise our dominion.
He will cast us out.”

([Commentary: “644” is the Greek numerical value of “Emmanouēl”; Solomon would later learn the restored form is ʻImmanu’el.])

38. And Solomon marveled
and glorified YAHUAH who reveals truth even through evil spirits.

CHAPTER 3

BEELZEBOUL ATTEMPTS TO TEACH SOLOMON A RITUAL

39. And I, Solomon, questioned Beelzeboul further, saying:
“Tell me of the things in the shamayim. Tell me what men do that angers your kind.”

40. And the demon answered:
“If you burn gum-resin,
mixed with nard, saffron,
and the bulb of the sea,
and if you light seven lamps while purified before YAHUAH…
you will establish your house firmly.”

41. “And at dawn, if you light them again in the rising sun,
you will behold the heavenly dragons,
wrapping themselves around the chariot of the sun as it moves across the heavens.”

([Commentary: Demons often attempted to teach Solomon occult rituals; Solomon always rejected and rebuked them.])

SOLOMON REBUKES THE DEMON’S TRICKERY

42. When I heard this, I recognized the demon’s deception.
So I rebuked him sharply and said:

“Silence!
Do not teach me forbidden things.
Return to your labor.
Saw the stones as I commanded you.”

43. And Beelzeboul trembled and departed, for he was bound by the Seal of YAHUAH.

THE DUST-WIND SPIRIT

44. Then I commanded another demon to stand before me.
And behold, a violent wind burst into the court,
raising dust everywhere,
and out of it appeared a spirit whose face was high above the rest of his twisted form.

45. And he cried with a loud voice:
“What would you ask of me, O King?”

46. I stood, spat upon the ground,
and sealed the spot with the ring of YAHUAH,
and at once the dust-wind was stilled.

47. And I said to him:
“Who are you?”

48. He answered:
“I am Tephras,
the spirit of the ashes.”

TEPHRAS DESCRIBES HIS WORK

49. And I said:
“What is your work among men?”

50. And he said:
“I bring darkness upon men.
I burn fields.
I destroy homesteads.
I cause mourning in summer.
I hide myself in the corners of walls by night and day.”

51. And he added:
“I am the offspring of a great spirit — not a lesser being.”

TEPHRAS REVEALS HIS STAR AND HIS FEVER

52. I said to him:
“Under what star do you lie?”

53. And he said:
“In the southern horn of the moon,
when she stands in the south.
There is my star.”

54. “And I restrain the convulsions of the hemitertian fever.
For this reason, men pray to the fever with these three names:
Bultala, Thallal, Melchal.
And I heal them.”

([Commentary: “Hemitertian fever” = a type of intermittent fever known in ancient times.])

THE ANGEL WHO RESTRAINS TEPHRAS

55. Then I said to him:
“When you harm men, by whose authority do you do it?”

56. And he replied:
“By the angel who restrains the third-day fever.”

57. And I asked:
“Tell me the angel’s name.”

CHAPTER 4

THE ANGEL WHO RESTRAINS TEPHRAS

58. Then I, Solomon, said to Tephras:
“Tell me the name of the angel who restrains you.”

59. And the spirit answered:
“The angel who frustrates me is Azael.”

([Commentary: Azael appears in multiple ancient writings as a restraining angel over destructive spirits.])

60. And I sealed Tephras with the Seal of YAHUAH Tz’vaoth,
and appointed him to transport and set stones
for the foundation of the Temple.

THE SPIRIT OF THE DEEP

61. After this, I summoned another spirit to stand before me.
And there came a demon like a man —
but proud and boastful in appearance.

62. And I said to him:
“Who are you?”

63. And he answered:
“I am called Phêth,
the spirit of the deep waters.
I bring about shipwrecks,
storms,
and drownings.
I cause sailors to lose their senses
so they perish in the sea.”

64. And I said to him:
“By which angel are you restrained?”

65. And he replied:
“By the mighty angel Iomiel,
appointed over the oceans.”

([Commentary: Several manuscripts identify Iomiel as a guardian over the boundaries of the sea.])

66. And I sealed him with the ring of YAHUAH
and commanded him to lift heavy stones
for the foundation work.

THE SPIRIT OF STRIFE & DECEPTION

67. Then there came before me another demon,
having the form of a dark man.

68. And I said to him:
“Tell me your name.”

69. And he answered:
“I am Bêlbel,
the spirit of strife and deception.
I divide households.
I turn friends into enemies.
I stir bitterness among brothers.”

70. And I said to him:
“What restrains you?”

71. And he said:
“The angel Kôkhab restrains me —
he who mends hearts
and brings reconciliation.”

72. And I sealed him
and appointed him to carry timbers
for the carpenters of the Temple.

THE SPIRIT OF DESPAIR

73. After him came a spirit with hollow eyes
and hands trembling like dry reeds.

74. And I said:
“Who are you?”

75. And he said:
“I am Orophel,
the spirit of faintness and despair.
I dry up the hearts of men
and lead them into hopelessness.
I whisper that YAHUAH has forsaken them —
though this is a lie.”

76. And I asked him:
“Who restrains you?”

77. And he answered:
“The angel Bôthiel,
who strengthens the weak
and revives those who are crushed in spirit.”

78. And I sealed him
and appointed him to gather clay
for the potters of the Temple.

THE SPIRIT OF THE SEASONS

79. Then came a spirit fluttering lightly like a breeze.

80. And I said:
“Who are you?”

81. He answered:
“I am Bolpôr,
the spirit of the seasons.
I destroy the fruits of the field.
I strike crops with mildew and blight.
I wither the harvest
unless restrained.”

82. And I said:
“And who restrains you?”

83. He answered:
“The angel Marmarath,
appointed over the elements and the rains.”

84. And I sealed him
and set him among the laborers of the Temple.

THE SPIRIT OF ERROR & FALSE SIGNS

85. Then I summoned another demon to appear before me.
And there stood a tall spirit with smooth speech
and eyes that deceived.

86. And I said:
“What is your name?”

87. He replied:
“I am Kunope,
the spirit of error and false signs.
I cause men to believe lies.
I deceive through signs and wonders.
I lead people to trust in omens,
charms,
and the powers of the fallen ones.”

88. And I said:
“What restrains you?”

89. He answered:
“The angel Penuel,
who brings truth to the humble
and exposes my deceptions.”

90. And I sealed him
and appointed him to measure wood
for the builders of the House of YAHUAH.

CHAPTER 5

THE SPIRIT OF THE POWERLESS

91. After I, Solomon, had sealed the spirit of error, another demon came before me — trembling, weak, and drained of strength.

92. And I said to him:
“Who are you? And what is your work?”

93. And he answered:
“I am Taphtath,
the spirit of powerlessness and faint-heartedness.
I drain the courage of men.
I weaken their resolve.
I cause their hands to fail in labor
and their hearts to melt with fear.”

94. And I said:
“Who restrains you?”

95. He replied:
“The angel Gabathiel restrains me.
He strengthens the weary
and fills the faint-hearted with boldness.”

96. And I sealed him with the ring of YAHUAH
and appointed him to carry water
for the Temple laborers.

THE SPIRIT OF THE NIGHT WATCHERS

97. Then another demon came —
a youth in appearance,
but with the eyes of an old man.

98. And I said to him:
“What is your name?”

99. And he answered:
“I am Autoth,
the spirit of the night watchers.
I whisper wickedness into the ears of men as they sleep.
I stir imaginations with lust, fear, and confusion.”

100. And I asked him:
“What restrains you?”

101. He answered:
“The angel Amatiel,
who brings pure dreams
and guards the chambers of rest.”

102. And I sealed him
and placed him at the Temple gates
to keep the workers awake during their tasks.

THE SPIRIT OF THE TWISTED PATH

103. After him came a spirit whose legs were bent unnaturally,
as though his body followed crooked paths.

104. And I said to him:
“What are you called?”

105. And he replied:
“I am Phêthkom,
the spirit of the twisted path.
I lead men astray from the straight way.
I cause stumbling in judgment
and wandering in confusion.”

106. And I asked him:
“Who restrains you?”

107. And he answered:
“The angel Marmaraoth,
who guides men in the straight derek
and teaches truth to those who seek it.”

108. And I sealed him
and commanded him to bear burdens of wood
for the House of YAHUAH.

THE SPIRIT WHO STRIKES WITH SICKNESS

109. Then there came a demon whose form flickered like the flame of a lamp.

110. And I said:
“Who are you?”

111. And he replied:
“I am Abyzou,
the spirit who brings sudden sickness.
I cause fevers, chills, and trembling.
I strike infants, the aged, and the frail.
I move by night and hide by day.”

([Commentary: Ancient manuscripts identify Abyzou as linked to “Lilith-type night spirits” feared in childbirth.])

112. And I asked him:
“Who restrains you?”

113. And he answered:
“The angel Rapha’el restrains me —
for he is appointed by YAHUAH
as healer of the afflicted.”

114. And I sealed him
and appointed him to draw water from the springs
to purify the vessels of the Temple.

THE SPIRIT OF RAINLESS CLOUDS

115. After him came a spirit shaped like a dark cloud.

116. And I asked:
“What do they call you?”

117. He answered:
“I am Niphla,
the spirit of rainless clouds.
I rise like a storm,
but give no rain.
I deceive men into believing
their crops will be watered.”

118. And I said:
“Who restrains you?”

119. He replied:
“The angel Atrus,
appointed to command the winds
and the rains.”

120. And I sealed him
and commanded him to carry the stones
of the inner court.

THE SPIRIT OF RAGING WIND

121. Then came a spirit roaring like a whirlwind.

122. And I said:
“What is your name?”

123. And he cried out:
“I am Rhyx,
the spirit of raging wind.
I overturn houses.
I scatter the goods of men.
I bring terror with the force of my breath.”

124. And I said:
“Who restrains you?”

125. And he replied:
“The angel Biael,
who commands the calm
and brings stillness to storms.”

126. And I sealed him
and placed him under guard
to bring wood for the offering altars.

CHAPTER 6

THE SEA-DRAGON SPIRIT

127. After I, Solomon, sealed the spirits of the winds, I commanded that another demon be brought before me.

128. And there was led before my face a demon in a strange form —
for from the front he appeared as a man,
but from behind he resembled a fish of the sea.

129. And he spoke in a thundering voice, saying:
“I am a spirit of the sea, O King Solomon —
fierce, greedy for gold and silver.
I travel across the waters.
I become as a wave and overturn ships.
I seize men and drown them.”

130. And he continued, saying:
“I do not covet flesh —
I cast the bodies ashore.
But Beelzeboul, ruler over the spirits of the air and under the earth,
shares kingship with us
according to the works we perform.”

131. “For this reason I came up from the sea
to consult with him.”

132. And I said to him:
“Tell me — by whom are you restrained?”

133. And he answered:
“By the angel Iameth,
who commands the seas.”

134. And I sealed him with the Seal of YAHUAH Tz’vaoth
and ordered that he be enclosed in a vessel
along with jars of seawater
and stored in the Temple of YAHUAH for restraint.

THE SPIRIT WHO CHANGES FORM LIKE KRONOS

135. After this, another spirit appeared before me and said:
“At times I am invoked magically as Kronos.
At other times I appear in another form.
I descend with great force.
No man can restrain me
except the angel Rathanael,
who sits in the third heaven.”

136. And I said to the spirit:
“What is your purpose?”

137. And he replied:
“I change into three forms,
and I am part of a measure of creation
that cannot be contained by men.”

138. Then I prayed to YAHUAH,
invoked the angel Rathanael,
and sealed the spirit with a triple chain.

139. And the spirit prophesied to me, saying:

“O King Solomon —
after your days this kingdom shall be broken.
This Temple shall be torn apart.
Yerushalayim shall fall under the Persians, the Medes, and the Chaldaeans.
The vessels you have made shall be polluted by the idols of the nations.”

140. “We spirits whom you have bound
shall be released throughout the world.
We shall deceive mankind for many generations —
until the Son of YAHUAH
is stretched upon the stake.”

141. “He alone will frustrate us all.
His mother will not have known a man.
And the number of His Name among the Greeks is 644,
which is called ʻImmanu’el
‘ALUAH with us.’”

([Commentary: The manuscript explicitly gives “644” in Greek numerical value. The restored form is ʻImmanu’el, not “Emmanuel.”])

142. And when I heard this, I glorified YAHUAH —
though I marveled
and did not understand fully until the time came to pass.

THE HEADLESS DEMON — ENVY

143. After this I commanded that another spirit stand before me.
And there came a demon in the form of a man —
but he had no head.

144. And I said to him:
“Tell me who you are.”

145. And he answered:
“I am Envy.
I devour the heads of men.
I search for a head like yours, O king,
but I can never be satisfied.”

146. And I, Solomon, sealed him with the ring,
stretching out my hand upon his chest,
and the demon fell, crying:

“Woe is me!
Ornias, you traitor!
I cannot see!”

147. And I said to him:
“How then do you see?”

148. And he answered:
“By my feelings.
I am wholly voice.
I possess the voices of many.”

149. “When a child cries at night,
I become a spirit
and glide upon his voice.
I cause mutilations and sores.
And when a man’s neck swells with sickness,
I leap upon him
and cut the swelling like a sword
and put it upon myself.”

150. And I said to him:
“Tell me — by which angel are you frustrated?”

151. And he replied:
“By the holy power of the Day-Star,
and by the Name of the angel Afaroṭ
which is interpreted as Rapha’el.”

([Commentary: Manuscripts describe Afaroṭ / Afarot as a variant name for the healing messenger Rapha’el.])

152. And I sealed him
and appointed him to labor as a carrier of stones
for the work of the Temple.

CHAPTER 7

THE SPIRIT OF LIGHTNING — THE CITY-BURNER

153. After I, Solomon, sealed the headless spirit, I commanded that another demon stand before me.
And there came a spirit in the form of a black hound,
with eyes like streaks of fire
and a voice like a storm wind.

154. And I said to him:
“What are you called?”

155. And he answered:
“I am the spirit of lightning.
By my passage men are scorched.
Their limbs are consumed.
I burn cities
and set the houses of men aflame.”

156. And I said:
“By what angel are you restrained?”

157. He answered:
“By the great angel Rathanael,
who sits in the third heaven.
By his authority,
my flames are quenched.”

158. And I sealed him with the ring of YAHUAH Tz’vaoth,
and commanded him to quarry and haul stones
for the upper courts of the Temple.

THE DRAGON OF THE RED SEA (SPIRIT OF THE DEPTHS)

159. After the lightning spirit departed,
I commanded yet another demon to come.

160. And before my face came a spirit in the form of a dragon,
but his face was that of a man,
and his eyes were filled with sorrow.

161. And I said to him:
“Who are you? And what is your work?”

162. And the dragon answered:
“I am a spirit once called great among men,
but now brought low
by the wisdom YAHUAH has granted you.”

163. “I dwell in the Red Sea.
I stir its depths.
I break ships.
I rise like smoke
from beneath the waters.”

164. And I said to him:
“By what angel are you restrained?”

165. And he replied:
“By the angel Bazazeth,
whose seat is in the second heaven.”

([Commentary: Some manuscripts identify Bazazeth as an angel assigned over chaotic waters.])

166. And I sealed him
and commanded him to carry the heavy timbers
for the builders of the Temple.

THE SPIRIT WHO SHATTERS FOUNDATIONS

167. After him came another demon
with a body like unstable earth,
shifting and trembling as he moved.

168. And I said to him:
“What are you called?”

169. And he answered:
“I am Akrôz,
the spirit who shatters foundations.
I weaken pillars.
I crumble walls.
I bring fear to builders
and cause men to abandon their work.”

170. And I asked him:
“Who restrains you?”

171. And he said:
“The angel Sathiel restrains me —
he who establishes the pillars of the earth.”

172. And I sealed him
and commanded him to grind plaster
for the Temple walls.

THE SPIRIT WHO BRINGS CONFUSION TO ARCHITECTS

173. Then another spirit came —
thin, restless,
and constantly drawing shapes in the air with his hands.

174. And I said:
“What is your name?”

175. He answered:
“I am Katanak,
the spirit who confuses architects.
I bend their lines.
I twist their measurements.
I cause their designs to fail
and their structures to collapse.”

176. And I said:
“What restrains you?”

177. And he replied:
“I am restrained by the angel Ophaniel,
who governs the wheels of creation
and corrects all misalignments.”

178. And I sealed him
and set him among the scribes
to record measurements without error.
